Website Build & Rebuild

A website that loads fast, works for everyone and turns visitors into conversations

Your website is often the first real interaction someone has with your business. If it's slow, hard to use on a phone, difficult to update or invisible in search, it quietly costs you inquiries every day.

We design and build new websites, and we rescue existing ones through redesigns, platform migrations, speed improvements and accessibility fixes.

Who it's for

  • New businesses and independent professionals who need a credible, professional site that's easy to maintain.
  • Established companies with a dated, slow or hard-to-edit site.
  • Teams planning a platform move, for example from an aging CMS to WordPress, Grav, Webflow or Shopify, who can't afford to lose search rankings.
  • Organizations that need to meet accessibility expectations and want a practical plan to get there.

Common problems we solve

  • Pages that take several seconds to load on mobile.
  • Contact forms that don't send, or send to an inbox nobody checks.
  • A site only one developer (who left) knows how to update.
  • Traffic drops after a previous redesign or migration.
  • Poor or missing tracking, so nobody knows which pages generate leads.
  • Accessibility barriers such as low contrast, missing alt text, keyboard traps and unlabeled form fields.

What's included

  • Discovery and content plan. Goals, audiences, sitemap and the key actions each page should drive.
  • UX and visual design. Clean, on-brand layouts designed mobile-first, with clear calls to action.
  • Development. Built on a platform that fits your needs and skills, with a focus on speed, security and easy editing.
  • Performance optimization. Image optimization, caching, script cleanup and hosting/CDN advice, targeting Google's Core Web Vitals thresholds.
  • Accessibility. Designing and testing against WCAG guidelines, including color contrast, headings, keyboard navigation and form labels.
  • SEO foundations. Clean URLs, metadata, structured data where appropriate, XML sitemaps and redirect mapping for migrations.
  • Analytics and conversion tracking. GA4 and Tag Manager set up from day one, with key actions such as form submissions and calls tracked.
  • Training and documentation. So your team can update content confidently.

How a typical project runs

  1. Discovery. Goals, audiences, competitors and what's working (or not) today.
  2. Plan. Sitemap, content outline, platform recommendation and, for rebuilds, a full URL and redirect inventory.
  3. Design. Wireframes, then visual design, reviewed with you at each stage.
  4. Build and test. Development, content entry, cross-device testing, accessibility checks and speed testing.
  5. Launch. Careful go-live with redirects, tracking verification and Search Console monitoring.
  6. Support. Post-launch fixes, training and optional ongoing improvements.

Why does speed get so much attention? Because the research is consistent: in a Google-commissioned Deloitte study, a 0.1-second mobile speed improvement was associated with an 8.4% increase in retail conversions. Our article on website speed and conversions covers the evidence in detail.

Tools we work with

Frequently asked questions

Should we redesign or rebuild from scratch?

Not always. Sometimes the fastest win is improving the site you have: speed fixes, clearer calls to action and better forms. We'll tell you honestly which route makes more sense.

Will we lose our Google rankings if we change platforms?

Migrations carry risk, but most of it is manageable with a full URL inventory, 301 redirects, preserved metadata and close monitoring after launch. That process is a standard part of every rebuild we do.

Can we update the site ourselves?

Yes. Easy editing is a core requirement, and we include training and written guides.

Do you write the content?

We can help structure and edit your content and write page copy with your input. You know your business best, so we'll work from your expertise.
